Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse

Influenced by the beauty of nature, we had the pleasure of collaborating with designer Kesha Franklin on the "Heart of the Vine" den, starting from the ground up to craft a bespoke abstract leaf floor covering. This unique piece, featuring a harmonious blend of hunter green, chartreuse, and crisp white, encapsulates the essence of the space, reflecting our shared vision for design that marries form with function.

Inspired by creeping vines, this design is created using a Woven Jacquard technique. This tactile texture enhances the presence of the design while offering durability to withstand heavy footfall.

Ken Fulk's 'A Study in Optimism'

In our 2021 collaboration with the inimitable Ken Fulk for the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas, The Rug Company proudly crafted a celestial-themed bespoke rug. This design marries the mystique of the cosmos with the plush comfort of luxury, anchoring the room with a touch of Ken Fulk's signature eccentric elegance for the 'A Study in Optimism' project.

Seeking to promote imagination through play, we worked alongside Hannah Harden of de Gournay to reimagine the role of a rug. Opposed to being a statement this bespoke piece combines bold colours and playful prints to stimulate exploration through expression.
